Joseph Auditions Extended

The directorial staff of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor(R) Dreamcoat is extending the audition date to include Tuesday, September 24 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Wheaton Drama, Playhouse 111, 111 N. Hale Street in Wheaton. The director is primarily looking for a Joseph, the Pharaoh, and at least 4 brothers.

Auditions: It’s a Wonderful Life

Director Sean Ogren will conduct auditions for Wheaton Drama’s “It’s a Wonderful Life” Radio Show,
Tony Palermo’s adaptation of the classic Frank Capra film.
Auditions will be at Playhouse 111 one night only: Sunday, Sept. 22, starting at 7 p.m., and will consist of
cold readings from the script. Please bring a headshot and resume, and be prepared to read multiple
parts. Sound FX techs, children, and jingle singers have been pre-cast. All other parts are open; most
actors will play multiple roles.

Rehearsals will be held Dec. 8–11, with evening performances Dec. 12–14, and a matinee Sunday, Dec. 15. Important: Contingent on ticket demand, a Saturday matinee could be added. Actors should assume there will also be a performance that afternoon.

Update: Auditions: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Update:

The directorial staff of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor(R) Dreamcoat is extending the audition date to include Wednesday, September 18 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at Wheaton Drama, Playhouse 111, 111 N. Hale Street in Wheaton.

Characters vary from children to men and women up to the age of 60.  For an expanded description of roles, please read the full post.  An accompanist will be provided.  Bring sheet music and be prepared to sing 16-32 bars of your preferred song. Performance dates run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from November 8 thru December 8.  For more  information contact director, Anthony Berg @ 630-730-0313

“Lend Me a Tenor” Cast List

Director Jim Liesz has announced the cast for Ken Ludwig’s uproarious comedy “Lend Me a Tenor,” the opening production of Wheaton Drama’s 2103-14 season.

The cast:

“Lend Me a Tenor” will be performed at 111 North Hale St., Wheaton, on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from Sept. 13 through Oct. 6, 2013. Curtain is 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  Sunday curtain will be at 3 p.m.  Tickets are $13 for Thursday performances and $16 for all other performances.
