Dee Hicks

DEE HICKS (Publicity) – Dee has been member of WDI since 1966 and has watched the organization change from a “drama club” to a community theater. She appreciates all of the creative “young” people for sharing their talents on and off stage and thanks our loyal patrons for supporting our efforts to bring quality theater to the western suburbs.  She is a two time recipient of the Alice Burnham award and has directed many shows including On Golden Pond and Rumors.  Roles she has played include: MAME, as the title role,  Miss Hannigan in Annie, Bloody Mary in South Pacific and one of Jerry’s Girls, and most recently sang in the Nun’s Chorus in The Sound of Music
