Lars Timpa

Lars Timpa (Koerner/Dialect Coach) is very happy to be back on stage at Wheaton Drama. He was last seen here as Brother Martin in Incorruptible. Other shows at Wheaton Drama include 1776 (Colonel McKean), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Gaston), I Remember Mama (Uncle Chris), and The Diary of Anne Frank (Mr. Van Daam). He received his Theatre degree in Acting/Directing from SIU and has has been working steadily in the Western Suburbs since. Other favorite roles: Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (George), A Christmas Carol (Scrooge), The House of Blue Leaves (Artie), Waiting for Godot (Vladimir), The Pillowman (Tupolski), and Assassins (Byck). He would like to dedicate his performance to his late uncle, Witali Kostanda, who survived Sachsenhausen, Bergen-Belsen, Neuengamme and the sinking of the Cap Arcona; and his uncle Paul Hoog, who fought with Rommel in North Africa. Holidays were interesting in his family.
