R. J. Ogren
R.J. Ogren (Scenic Designer/Scenic Artist) has designed sets for community and professional theatres across the country for four decades, most recently in Colorado Springs for a production of Arsenic and Old Lace. At Wheaton Drama, he was designer/artist for Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Incorruptible, Black Comedy, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and The Sound of Music. One of the original management artists at Walt Disney World responsible for creative control, R.J. painted and created figures, sets, and murals for all the attractions. A fine artist of murals, portraits, landscapes, and original cartoon paintings, he owns the Cartoon and Fine Art Studio in Geneva. Originally from St. Charles, R.J. now lives in Naperville with his wife Suzanne, an actress/writer.
